PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR – MATERNITY COVER CONTRACT – MUIZENBERG CAPE TOWN

Fixed Term Contract payroll candidate (highly organised and meticulous) required for April – October 2026                                                                        Manufactujring concern siutated in Capricorn Business Park, CAPE TOWN

Process end‑to‑end weekly and monthly payroll for ±85 employees.

• Verify and oversee Time & Attendance (Kronos) timesheets accurately and on time.

• Resolve payroll-related queries, discrepancies, and third‑party issues promptly and accurately.

• Ensure strict confidentiality of all payroll data and information.

• Administer all payroll changes including appointments, terminations, promotions, increases, bonuses, loans, allowances, and AODs, etc.

• Reconcile third‑party deductions and ensure timely payments.

• Manage and administer employee benefits and act as a liaison with staff and third parties.

• Ensure timely submission of statutory and finance reports: EMP201, EMP501, UIF declarations, PAYE, GL reports, and third‑party schedules (medical aid, pension, provident fund).

• Prepare employment contracts and process all new starter documentation.

• Administer UIF documentation and employee biometric enrolments.

• Ensure adherence to South African labour laws and stay abreast on legislative changes.

• Administer all payroll administration

 

Grade 12

• 3–5 years’ payroll experience.

• Experience with Time & Attendance systems (Kronos advantageous).

• SAGE 300 People experience (advantageous).

• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.

• Manufacturing environment experience (advantageous).

• Own reliable transport
